U2 have donated an incredible €10 million to help support Irish frontline workers amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
The Irish group want to help in any way they can, and according to RTE the money will be spent to buy personal protective equipment for healthcare staff.
This is part of a huge campaign by Avolon, an Irish aircraft company, who offered a plane to the HSE to bring the equipment back from China.
Donations are being pooled together to get as many supplies as possible, as resources are limited in Ireland.

Everyone is doing their best to help with the pandemic, including Taoiseach Leo Varadkar who is returning to his medical roots.
After working as a GP for seven years, he was removed from the register in 2013 to pursue a career in politics, but has since rejoined, and will be offering his services once a week.
