As if we didn’t love Game of Thrones enough, we now have yet another reason to be obsessed with the fantasy drama. We already feel affiliated with the HBO series as it’s partly filmed in Ireland, but now the show is set to have an Irish invasion.
Actors Rory Dignam and Brendan Morrissey will feature in the seventh series of the show, which will air next summer. Both have acted in big productions before, but this will be their largest gig yet.
According to Brendan’s agency he is familiar with acting on screen, having starred in soaps such as Fair City, Ballykissangel and Brookside. He also had a role in period drama The Tudors. However, Rory is more familiar with stage acting, so this will be a new challenge for him.
We can’t wait to see them in the new series.
