Fans of Irish hunk Paul Mescal were delighted last night to see the Normal People star back on their screens again.
This time Paul packed away the schoolbag and GAA shorts, to play the role of a Donegal Fireman, in gritty new drama, The Deceived.
Paul shot to fame this summer, as his on-screen adaptation of the character Connel Waldron in Sally Rooney’s ‘Normal People’. He was highly praised for his equally realistic and moving portrayal, with it resulting in the 24-year-old gaining himself quite a few admirers.
Fans seem to still be as adoring of Paul as ever, with many rushing to Twitter to share their delight with seeing him back on screen.
I have to say I’m already hooked after two episodes 🤔 I’m probably biased as I loved @EmmettScanlan in Hollyoaks and of course @mescal_paul in Normal People #thedeceived
