TV3 has been around just 20 years, but we’ve gotten well used to calling it by that name.
The group currently has three channels TV3, 3e and last year the female-focused channel Be3 was launched.
However, the main channel will soon be called Virgin Media Television.
The announcement was made today by the group’s managing director Pat Kiely, as it launched the new schedule.
Though there is no set date for the big change, the rebrand is set to take place in 2018.
It was also announced that the Tonight Show, with Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates, would go from three to four nights a week.
Ireland’s Got Talent will kick off on the 9th of February, with the spin-off show Ireland’s Got Mór Talent, airing directly after.
The spin-off will be hosted by James Kavanagh and Glenda Gilson.
