Tributes have been pouring in from around the Irish music scene following the sudden death of the Voice of Ireland star, Andrew Mann.
The musician sadly passed away over the weekend, leaving behind a two-year-old daughter, Siena.
Andrew, who competed on the second series of The Voice, was also an Irish Eurovision contestant back in 2013, and was hugely respected in the music industry in Ireland.
The singer was the ex-boyfriend of late Irish model, Ali McDonnell, who passed away in back in February. Ali was also the mother of his young daughter.
Since the sad news broke,fellow musicians have been sharing their memories of Andrew.
“I just got the shocking news that my friend and fellow musician Andrew Mann has passed,” Keywest singer and friend of Andrew, Andy Kavanagh shared in an emotional tribute.
“Another beautiful soul lost needlessly.
“Life can get so very complicated so quickly. I’ve known Andrew for many years as a musician but in recent years we’ve really become good friends.
“He was a gentle positive person and I loved being around him. This has definitely hit me very hard. You will be missed my friend.”
Music producer Dean Sherry also spoke out about the terrible news, saying he was shocked by Andrew’s untimely passing.
“Very saddened to hear about the passing of such a talented Irish guy Andrew Mann. I worked with him on a small music project couple of years back such a great guy to be around -very shocked.”
