Tommy Tiernan has joined the lineup for the new season of The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
Yes, the comedian will appear alongside a mix of actors, TV personalities, and musicians, with celebrities like TV host Sarah Beeny, actress Meera Syal, radio personality Roman Kemp, and Chicken Shop Date presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg also joining the fun.
If you’re unfamiliar with the format, each episode of the series will see four celebrities challenged to create their best bakes in the Signature, Technical, and Showstopper rounds, with one contestant crowned Star Baker.

In a new announcement, it has also been confirmed that Caroline Waldegrave OBE will temporarily replace Prue Leith as a judge for the special celebrity edition after Prue stepped back from the role due to the filming schedule.
That means that Caroline will be joining judge Paul Hollywood to appraise the bakes of the new batch of famous faces.
Hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding will also return to encourage the celebrity bakers as they go head-to-head in the Bake Off tent, all while providing a few laughs too.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer will air on Channel 4 this spring, and we can’t wait to see our Tommy in action!
Until then, Tommy is currently busy touring Ireland for his new stand-up show Tommedian.
