Described as a “fun-fuelled trip through the comic imagination of one of the best comedians in the world” those in attendance will get the chance to witness a madcap parade of characters, memories and ridiculous flights of fancy.
“Theatrical, poetical and slightly unhinged,” the official release reads.
Although Tommy is already doing an impressive 14-night residency at Dublin’s Vicar Street later this year, the comedian has announced a further three dates at the venue as part of his tour including shows in Donegal, Monaghan, Waterford, Louth, Kilkenny and Carlow to name but a few.
Tickets for the new dates are on sale now and can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.ie and local venues.
The new tour will come as great news for Tommy fans seeing as RTÉ has just announced that the latest series of The Tommy Tiernan Show will end this coming Saturday, 20 April.
A source in RTÉ told the Irish Mirror: “This was an incredible run of The Tommy Tiernan Show. Season eight went on for 16 weeks and viewers kept tuning in in their droves.
“The Tommy Tiernan Show has been a hit from day one and everyone, both in RTÉ and at home, is excited to see when it returns to screens again for another season.”
Well, there you have it folks!
