Ed Sheeran has set the record straight about his marital status.
Earlier in the week, fans were convinced the singer had tied the knot with his long-term love Cherry Seaborn, after he was spotted wearing a gold ring.
“I’m not married,” he said on Good Morning Britain.
“I’m just wearing an engagement ring as well, because I feel like you both should.”
Ed previously revealed that when the time comes to start a family, he’ll be stepping away from the limelight.
“My ambition is going to go to zero as soon as i have kids,” he told the Daily Star.
“I am going to be like, ‘I do not really care anymore as I have another life to take care of’.
“It’s totally understandable because you have children and your ambition shifts to be like, ‘I want to be a good father’.”
The couple have been dating since 2015.
