The line-up for this week’s Ray D’Arcy show is in, and you won’t want to miss it if you’re a sports fan!
Fresh from his first win on the European Tour in eight years, three-time Major winner golfer Padraig Harrington will drop by for a chat with Ray. He will discuss competing at the very top in sport and what representing Ireland at the Rio Olympics meant to him.
Former Republic of Ireland All-Ireland winning hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald, ex-Cork camogie captain and fitness guru Anna Geary, and rugby commentator and presenter Alan Quinlan will all join Ray on the couch this Saturday. They will discuss, among other things, their roles as coaches on Ireland’s Fittest Families and will fill Ray in on what they have in store for viewers.
Life-long campaigner Fr Peter McVerry will share his thoughts on what he believes needs to be done to combat the current homelessness crisis in Ireland. Laura Horan, a 20 year old DCU student, whose emotional video detailing her childhood experience of homelessness went viral earlier this week, will also contribute to the show.
This week’s show will also feature the return of The Ray D’Arcy Show Lip Sync battle, with brothers Stephen and David Flynn of The Happy Pear fame going head to head against broadcaster Lorraine Keane.
Tune into The Ray D’Arcy Show tomorrow night on RTÉ One at 9:50pm.
