Fans of Today with Maura and Daithi rejoice, as the chat show has been extended for two more weeks.
The RTE show should have been wrapping up for a summer break, but due to incredible viewing numbers, they’ve decided to keep it on air.
Host Daithi O’Se said, ‘We are thrilled to be staying on for the extra few weeks.
“The response from the public in the past few weeks has been brilliant. Even though we are just doing our job, it’s great to know that we are some sort of comfort in these extraordinary times.”
Maura Derrane added, “We are delighted to be in our viewers’ living rooms into June. We’ll continue to bring all your favourite items and will have many more entertaining guests.”
At the moment, they plan to be on air until June 5th. You can catch the show weekdays on RTE One at 3.30pm.
