Roísín O opted for a stunning copper, smokey eye at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards last month, and with a little help from Inglot, recreating the look at home couldn’t be easier.
The gorgeous nude look can take you from day to night, and is perfect for any occasion. We caught up with Inglot make-up artist Maria Murphy to learn how to copy the look, and the best products to use.
Skin prep:
Before getting started with make-up, it’s important to prep the face. Maria recommends Inglot’s Refreshing Face Mist; €12, followed by HD Corrective Primer in Peach; €26.
Face:
While creating the look on Roísín, Maria used a combination of two foundations to get the perfect base. AMC Cream foundation in LW600; €24 and YSM Cream Foundation in 49; €20.
Afterwards, Maria used an under eye concealer in shade 96; €16 to brighten the area. To ensure the make-up remained in place all day she used Freedom System Pressed Powder in 15; €15 and AMC Pressed Powder in 77; €15.
To add a pop of colour to the face, Maria used Freedom System Face Blush in 34; €9 and then topped the whole look off with a touch of highlighter on the cheekbones and just under the brow arch. For this, she chose to use Freedom Eyeshadow in 30; €6.
Eyes:
To get the perfect smokey eye, Maria mixed a number of colours. She used Freedom eyeshadows in 298, 351, 357, 368, 335, 298 and 609; €6. Maria made Roísín’s eyes pop with strong flick, using AMC gel liner in 77; €15. The eye’s were completed with False Lash Effect Mascara; €12.
Lips:
Finally, shape the lips with Precision Lipliner in 63; €10 and then add AMC Lip Paint in 58; €15 to complete the whole look.
