The island of Ireland is a magical hub of incredible talent. From poets, singers, screenwriters, the Irish talent in the arts is known worldwide. However, we often forget to give an honourable mention to the wonderful artists that this tiny country has produced.
Taking inspiration from our stunning history and landscape, talented artists across the country have created such special pieces to bring a little bit of Ireland into our homes.
Whether you are staying up in our beautiful country or decide to take the leap and move across the world, these pieces from Irish artists are a must-have to brighten up your home and reconnect you with our roots.

From his hilarious Child of Prague poster to a gorgeously illustrated pint of Guinness, Hurleys ability to create our culture into wonderful and humorous works of art is a testament to his talent.
After having an interest in film from a young age, Ray Hurley creates prints inspired by some of his favourite movies. And of course, he has pieces from iconic Irish films such as The Wind that Shakes the Barley and The Guard. They are subtle prints towards Ireland and link two talents together.
The vibrant and comedic style of his prints would brighten up any room and bring a smile to every face.
Ann Daly

Ann Daly creates stunning prints and paintings that are inspired by our Wild Atlantic seascape. After her family moved the England, she still always felt that to her, Ireland was home and used that feeling as inspiration for her prints.
When she moved to Clare, she listened to her grandfather, Mick, tell stories of the area in times gone by. She would walk along the coast, feeling that connection to home and remembering the stories of her grandfather before going back to her studio in Liscannor to unleash her creativity.
She uses thick oil paints with different palette knives to create the movement that she witnesses in the Atlantic Ocean. Her pieces are wonderfully wild, which contrast with the soft colours highlighting the Irish seascape.
These pieces would be fabulous in any home and make us think about how stunning our island can truly be, not matter how wild it is!
