Nicky Byrne has revealed that he is does think that Westlife will get back together.
The 2fm radio show host would like to see the hitmakers back together but didn’t give any clues as to when it might happen.
“I’m confident it will happen, but people will only know when they hear from us,” he told the Sun.
In recent years there have been various rumours that the band are getting back together.
But Nicky insists that unless you hear it from Mark, Shane, Kian or himself, it’s likely to be nothing more than a rumour.
“People should only get their hopes up when they hear from the four of us and no one else.”
While the 39-year-old was vague with the details, he did reveal that they are in talks.
“There’s offers on the table, we’ve had talks, but until you hear from the four of us, nothing is confirmed.”
It seems clear that if Westlife do reunite, they will not be a five-piece.
Last month Brian McFadden revealed he a disappointed that a reunion deal fell through.
The singer revealed that the boys turned down a huge deal to reunite as a five piece.
“I was offered a big multi-million pound deal,” Brian told The Irish Sun.
“It was the other boys in Westlife who said ‘no’. They didn’t want me back.”
“How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didn’t realise they still had those feelings towards me.”
