The Self Care Sessions are back – and to kick off the New Year in style we hosted a beautiful evening of empowerment in Galway city.
VIP and STELLAR readers were invited to the gorgeous Galmont Hotel for an event full of insightful discussion, empowering chat, and a restorative sound healing session.
Brought to you by Jenny Glow, Disaronno, Cleanmarine For Women, & Mayo Aesthetics at Amohallo Skin, this Self Care Sessions was our first of the year, and was a chance for our readers to indulge in a little January reflection, and step into the year ahead feeling grounded and inspired.

Speakers included Georgie Crawford, Clare McKenna, and Jane Buckley, followed by a sound healing session from Fíona Guiheen.
On arrival, guests were treated to a cocktail from Disaronno and the chance to browse our Self Care stands – for everything they’ve ever wanted to know about wellness and self care, both inside and out.
They also received a luxury goodie bag worth over €100, chock full of products from Jenny Glow, Cleanmarine For Women, Mayo Aesthetics at Amohallo Skin, Juspy, Solaris, Bondi Sands, Lir Chocolates, and the Galmont.

First, host Bianca Luykx spoke to broadcaster and author Clare McKenna about her own wellness journey, as well as her new book, Would You Be Well?, which cuts through the noise of modern wellness culture to help people find habits that genuinely fit their lives.

Next, Jenny Glow founder Jane Buckley chatted about her brand beginnings, and her beautiful affordable fragrance range across a spectrum of scent profiles — from fresh florals and citrus to deeper woody and oriental notes.
Jane spoke on how she manages the daily stresses of entrepreneurship and what’s changed between her thirties and her forties, such as greater confidence and clearer priorities – both in work and in her personal life.

Finally, Bianca spoke to broadcaster and founder of The Good Glow, Georgie Crawford. Built on honest conversations and shared experience, The Good Glow has become a trusted space for connection, encouragement, and practical wellness guidance.
Georgie discussed her New Year reset, and how she has created routines that truly support mind and body.

The evening finished with a restorative sound healing session from sound medicine practitioner, Fíona Guiheen. This deeply intuitive, Celtic-inspired session created space for rest, release, and reconnection, allowing the nervous system to slow and the mind to relax.
