The line-up for this week’s Late Late Show is here, and it looks like we’re in for a treat this Friday night!
Ireland’s President, Michael D Higgins will be live in studio chatting to Ryan about his passion project Macnnamh 100 which is a series of seminars on the War of Independence and Civil War. He will also be talking about his love of football as well as now being the president of Ireland for a decade.
This week’s show will also be marking 100 years of Irish football and celebrate some of the greatest players to have worn the green jersey. In the studio will be Paul McGrath, Niall Quinn, David O’Leary, Packie Bonner and Shay Given who will share some of their favourite memories from the glory days of Irish football.
Current international players will also join the show including Gavin Bazunu, Dara O’Shea, Jessie Stapleton, Chloe Mustaki as well as managers Vera Pauw and Stephen Kenny.
Jack Charlton’s son, John Charlton will also be on to pay tribute to his late father.
Finally, music on the night will be from singer-songwriter David Gray who will perform ‘This Year’s Love’ and Dan McCabe will sing ‘Fields of Athenry’.
