The Late Late Show hits our screens again tonight, and the lineup is well worth staying in for. The Hairy Bikers, Minister of State John Halligan and Kathleen Watkins will all be chatting to Ryan.
Hairy Bikers Dave Myers and Si King will be in studio to tell Ryan about what inspired them to write a cookbook solely about chicken and the egg, and we’ll be hearing how they moved from behind the cameras to become TV stars in their own right.
Kathleen Watkins will join Ryan Tubridy to chat about her new book, Pigin of Howth, and life as part of Ireland’s original celebrity power couple with broadcasting stalwart, and former Late Late host Gay Byrne.
In the week when ‘New Politics’ unveiled its first budget, Independent Alliance TD and Minister of State John Halligan will tell us why he’s choosing to fight on in Government even as the controversy continues.
Consultant endocrinologist and obesity expert Professor Donal O’Shea will be telling viewers why he feels that the Government is failing to fight obesity with the latest budget and the delay in introducing a sugar tax. Viewers will also meet two people whose life has been transformed by going under the knife to tackle the issue, and another who is hoping to do the same.
Oliver Callan will be giving his unique take on the budget, and comedian Colm O’Regan will be tickling funny bones as he talks “Bolloxology.”There will also be music from The Riptide Movement and Donna Taggart.
The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.35pm tonight.
