Nicky Byrne surprised fans with an adorable throwback on social media this weekend.
The former Westlife star showed followers that he always had his sights set on fame and that he a star in the making.
The radio presenter shared a photo of himself as a child wearing a white suit and red bowtie and sporting a very prominent bowl haircut.
Captioning the picture Nicky said: “Anyone else crowned the Prince Of Wales in Pontins? @pontinsoffical Didn’t t think so. #Haircut #beatles”
The Dubliner is referring to the popular UK holiday park Pontins, where he won the prestigious title!
Fans and followers got nostalgic about their own summer holidays.
“I came runner up….dressed in orange crepe paper with lots of fake gold on…miss 9 carrot gold,” one fan remembered.
“Haha i was Little Miss Butlins 1993” another said.
A third follower added: “I won the robotics dance competition in 1987 all videos and photos have since been destroyed!”
Another pointed out that it was only the beginning for the rising star.
