The first person eliminated from DWTS is…

It’s time to say goodbye to our first celebrity.

Yes, sadly, the time has come on Dancing with the Stars to send someone home.

The two celebrities with the lowest scores from the judges were Kevin Dundon who scored an 18 and Joanna Donnelly who was given a 19.

The judges’ scores, combined with the public’s lowest number of votes, sadly meant that these two celebrities were at risk of leaving the competition.

Sharing his thoughts shortly before the results were announced on how it might go down, judge Brian Redmond noted: “I would be a little worried for those maybe towards the bottom, middle section in the leaderboard.”

Meaning, it could be anyone!

And as we all know, it really is the public vote to seal the deal.

In the end, it was Danny O’Carroll, Kevin Dundon and Mickey Joe Harte who were the last three standing.

And unfortunately, it was Mickey Joe who received the least amount of votes and whose DWTS journey would be coming to an end.

“It’s been great craic, I’ve made so many good friends, but listen it’s just one of those things,” he shared.

“I’m just disappointed for Daniela as it was her first year,” he added in reference to his dance partner.

You’ll be missed Mickey!
