Dancing With The Stars has only been on air for 3 weeks, and already a romance has been revealed.
Professional dancers Emily Barker and Curtis Prichard met when they were youngsters through a love of dancing, but only began a relationship with one another a year ago.
The pair are partnered with Hughie Maughan and Thalia Heffernan on the programme, but unfortunately Emily and Hughie were the first couple to be voted off last night.
Speaking to RSVP Magazine Curtis said, “We started going out on November 21st 2015, so we have been together for a year and two months.
“We used to dance together when we were 12-years-old and I never thought that I would see her again. We got back in contact and we were part of a touring company, and now we are here.
“Now that Emily has a little bit of free time, hopefully we can explore a bit more of Dublin.”
Although Emily won’t be going head-to-head with her boyfriend anymore, Curtis will put his best foot forward on the ballroom dance floor again this Sunday, after ending up in the bottom three last night.
Dancing With The Stars airs this Sunday at 6:30pm on RTE One.
