Autumn is almost here, and with it comes cooler days, falling leaves, and of course, comforting meals.
As the seasons change, naturally, so does the aesthetics of our homes. We’re talking warmer colour schemes, seasonal accessories, and maybe even a pumpkin or two as we approach spooky season.
Those of us who enjoy hosting may also look towards updating our tablescape aesthetic, as we invite friends and family into our homes for a feast they’ll never forget.
If you’re currently in the market for some beautiful pieces to celebrate the coming of autumn, look no further than The Designed Table.
Their latest Pantone Collection includes cotton linen napkins and placemats in a crisp white for an elegant finish to any tablescape; perfect for a formal dinner party or for simple dressing your table for Sunday lunch.
If you’re planning on entertaining for Halloween, these napkins also come in a gorgeous autumnal orange. There’s also a pumpkin-embroidered table runner, natural jute placemats, and wooden pumpkin napkin rings.
Autumn never looked so festive!
The Designed Table’s Tara O’Conner says: “I love entertaining all year round, gathering friends and family around the table, but there is something about autumn that just sparks this new energy for bringing people together to share a feast and good company.
“Celebrating the harvest and the great indoors – that’s what this season brings to my mind, and I hope these pieces inspire others to spend some time sitting down to dine together, really savouring the best fresh, seasonal ingredients.
“Tablescaping is something to be enjoyed, to allow your own creativity to take hold. Don’t be afraid to try new looks to see what works for you and your home.”
What’s more is that the brand recently launched their new Jaipur block print collection, a beautiful range of tablecloths, placemats and coasters available in two colourways – light blue and light green.
Transition from summer into autumn with these stunning floral prints and vibrant colours inspired by the sites of Jaipur, the City Palace and gorgeous city gardens.
“Everything we launch, from season to season, is intended to be used with items from past collections. We create linen that lasts and can be used time and time again,” says Tara.
The entire seasonal, vibrant collection is available for order now. You’ll be the hostess with the mostest at any dinner party this autumn.
The Designed Table will also have a special pop-up at Kildare Village next month, featuring more tablescape ideas, as well as a tablescaping and wreath making workshop with the Potting Shed.
The pop-up will take place at The Apartment from the 2nd to the 4th of September between 10am – 6pm, and on Sunday the 3rd between 11am – 1pm Ciara Durham from The Potting Shed will be hosting the aforementioned tablescaping and wreathe making workshop.
The perfect autumnal event, we’re sure you’ll agree!
