Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to bring the festive cheer than with a cheesy Netflix movie marathon?
The streaming giant brought its A-game last Christmas with releases including A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding and The Princess Switch, so what’s going to be on our Netflix lists this December? Read on to find out.
A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby
Ah, the Christmas Prince series. Where do we even begin? It’s cheesy, it’s cringy and it’s so entertaining.
Following the success of the sequel A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, this third addition to the series sees Amber and Richard prepare to welcome their first royal baby, heir to Aldovia.
However, when an ancient treaty is stolen from the palace, Amber must use her journalistic skills to solve this “monarchy mystery” in order to save the kingdom, and her family.
The Knight Before Christmas
Last year, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens won hearts with The Princess Switch, and she’s back again to bring us more cheesy Christmas goodness.
The Knight Before Christmas tells the story of Sir Cole, a medieval knight transported to modern-day Ohio and Brooke, a kind science teacher who’s been disillusioned by love.
As Sir Cole attempts to complete his quest and return home, he finds himself falling for Brooke. Will the Knight and his lady make it work? Add this to your list, stat.
Let It Snow
Christmas Eve is the setting of this teen rom-com, and we’re already obsessed!
When a snowstorm hits a small town, a group of high school seniors finds their friendships and love lives unexpectedly colliding.
Starring Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Kiernan Shipka and Youtube star Anna Akana, this is sure to be Netflix’s next big teen holiday movie.
P.S: Let It Snow is based on the best-selling novel by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson.
Holiday in the Wild
Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis is back and better than ever in this alternative take on a holiday tale.
Holiday in the Wild tells the story of newly-single Manhattanite Kate Conrad who is about to embark on her second honeymoon with her husband.
However, Kate gets thrown the mother of all curveballs when her husband suddenly leaves her prior to their scheduled trip to Africa.
You can see where this is going. Jilted Kate heads off on a solo safari and finds the love of her life in Rob Lowe’s Derek. Somebody pass the tissues!
