Popular supermarket Tesco have recalled one of their own-brand products for fear that it may contain harmful bacteria.
Batches of the Tesco Cheeses of Ireland Wicklow blue with the use by dates between the 23rd and the 25th of February are being recalled, amid worries that they may contain the bacteria Listeria.
If eaten, the bacteria can cause serious infection with symptoms including fever, headache, stiff neck and convulsions. The disease can be particularly dangerous for pregnant women, the elderly, and those with a weak immune system.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Tesco have issued the recall and are urging customers to return the product to the store that it was purchased in.
