Terrie McEvoy has revealed she’s going back to college to complete a new degree.
After spending the last few years travelling and living abroad, Terrie and her husband David decided to settle down again in Ireland.
Since their return, Terrie joined the thousands of men and women across the country who are working tirelessly every single day to fight Covid19.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she recently said, “It’s just mentally and physically exhausting, but we’re getting there.
“We’re really leaning on each other in the hospitals, I think as long as we have each other’s backs it’ll continue to get easier. It’s all about working as a team.”
The experience inspired her to go return to education, and she’ll be attending the Royal College of Surgeons later this year.
Taking to social media she said, “You can’t change the direction of the wind-but you can adjust your sails.
“Covid has most certainly put a stop to all of our plans this year, but I refuse to let it stop me making the most of my time.
” Life has such a funny way of pushing you in the direction of what’s meant for you…. so I’m going with it.
“My application to do my Post Graduate Diploma was accepted a couple of weeks ago, so here goes nothing. Royal College of Surgeons here I come.”
We wish her the very best of luck!
