Portugal has always held a special place in Terrie McEvoy’s heart. She and husband David married there and now the pair have decided to up sticks and relocate to the sentimental spot.
Opening up about the move Terrie spoke to us at The Platinum VIP Style Awards, revealing how her family has found the adjustment.
Confessing; “Moving to Portugal has been incredible but getting lots of work done with a dog and a baby.”
“But it’s amazing. Me and David make such a great team, it’s come in our stride like everything else in life.”
The happy couple welcomed their first little one, a baby girl named Sydney, in November 2021, and Terrie also revealed how life has changed since having a child.
“Being a mammy is hectic, I forget what it’s like to leave the house with just one thing. You have to leave the house with a thousand thing.” she explained.
The couple’s move to Portugal didn’t come as a surprise. It is a special place for them after they tied the knot in Monte Seco, Faro, in September 2019, surrounded by family and friends.
And Terrie had actually hinted at a relocation there in 2020.
Back then she spoke to us about moving home from Australia, confessing that she and David were interested in moving again.
Saying; “I think I feel I want to go somewhere else, like Europe, maybe Portugal.”
