Temperatures set to soar just in time for St. Patrick’s Day

It seems the luck of the Irish has kicked in ahead of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day as good weather is on the way for the 17th.

After a rocky start to 2021 weather-wise, things are making a turn for the better just in time St. Patrick’s Day with temperatures set to hit double figures.

Today had a wet start but it’s set to remain clear and sunny for the rest of the afternoon, which will carry on into Wednesday too.

Fog and frost set to happen overnight on Tuesday will clear on Wednesday morning with a clear and dry day ahead. Some clouds may move across Connacht and north Ulster.

Expected high temperatures of 10C or 11C on the north coast and 16C or 17C across Munster and Leinster.

The mild conditions are set to continue in to the rest of the week for most of the country, however, we shouldn’t get the sundresses out just yet, as Met Eireann predicts that the mild weather will come to an end over the coming weekend.
