Although it was only in September that the show was announced, we feel like we’ve been waiting forever for this to hit our screens. Suzanne Jackson and Eileen Smith are hosting their very own fashion program, The Style Counsellors for RTE One.
The aim of the show is to help those who have lost their shopping or clothes confidence for different reasons or as RTE put it so well they “join forces to help people who have lost their fashion mojo!”
For those that haven’t heard of Eileen Smith, she became something of an Instagram sensation last year with her fashion account @eileenstylequeen.
Now at over fifty thousand followers, at eighty years of age no less, she is not your typical social media influencer. Despite this she has become extremely popular for her love of sophisticated fashion and her now infamous mirror selfies.
What we have loved is her blossoming friendship with Suzanne Jackson that we have seen on social media over the past few months. Long hours of filming around the country have seen the two become fast friends constantly posting selfies of themselves out and about shooting.
The two clearly have the craic together and if the clips of their show are anything to go by it will be really entertaining. We are curious to see style advice from two women from completely different generations and we’ll definitely be tuning in.
The Style Counsellors airs tomorrow at 8.30pm on RTE One.
