Suzanne Jackson has shared an update on her dog Coco, saying it’s good news for her little pup.
Taking to her Instagram stories last night, Suzanne explained that her dog has been unwell for a while, with vets and herself assuming the worst.
“Her white blood cells kept dropping to zero and her whole body almost just shut down because she basically had no white blood cells,” Suzanne began.
“The vets kept thinking maybe it was something underlying (causing her white cells to drop), something along the lines of bone cancer or some other type of cancer. Because her white blood cells were dropping to 0 they assumed it was trying to fight something pretty severe.”
“We were preparing for the worst. She was very very very sick.”

Going on to say that thankfully it wasn’t cancer but rather a nasty reaction to something else, Suzanne added:
“She has made a full recovery. They (the vets) now think it was an autoimmune response to a vaccination that she had.”
“Coco is now back to full health which we’re so happy about, and also kind of weren’t really expecting.”
Suzanne first shared that her dog was unwell when she and her husband Dylan were left with no choice but to return back to Dublin after making the decision to temporarily relocate to Portugal.
We’re glad to hear that little Coco is on the mend!
