Former Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton has revealed her admiration for Erin McGregor and Ryan McShane.
The pro dancer, who won Strictly in 2016 with Ore Oduba, took a step back from the competition to focus on other projects.
The 34-year-old is currently touring the UK and Ireland, playing the lead role in Flashdance.
Joanne performed a number from the production on Dancing with the Stars over the weekend, and took some time to scope out the talent.
“I loved Ryan and Erin. I saw their tango to a song from Chicago and loved it. I thought it was brilliant,” she told VIP Magazine.
Despite high praise from both Joanne and the judges who called her routine,”superb, intense and thrilling,” Erin still found herself in the bottom two.
She went up against Rob Heffernan and Emily Barker, but won the dance-off.
“Third time lucky,” Erin told us after the performance.
Ryan added, “We were really excited to dance it again. I loved the number. I love dancing with Erin. I honestly feel like she should have got tens for that routine.”
