Stephen Byrne has opened up about his brand new documentary.
The broadcaster, who previously re-sat the state exams ten years after finishing school, for RTE show Leaving Again, will be back on our screens for another exciting project.
Instead of airing the show on tv though, Stephen’s going back to his vlogging roots, publishing the documentary on Youtube, where he first started his career.
Speaking to VIP Magazine about his new project, he said, “I used to be a Youtube when I was younger, so I’ve done this sort of love letter to my younger self. It’s going to be released within the next two months.
“There’s lots of travel in it; Texas, London, Norway… I’m very excited for people to see it. I’m going to be over this completely and it’s all mine.
“I think it’s going to surprise a few people. It involves time travel, pop stars and trauma! It’s all about life and how it changes you.”
Opening up about his career in general, Stephen has revealed a move to LA could be on the cards if the right opportunity came about.
The RTE star, who’s a red carpet regular across the pond, likes the idea of trying something new, in a different country.
“I would go to America, potentially, even just for a little while,” he told VIP Magazine.
“I grew up in Australia, so home has always been between two places. I love Ireland and love Australia, but you’ve always got to push yourself and throw yourself out of your comfort zone.
“I love change and the idea that in 12 months time you could be a completely different person because of particular experiences.”
Stephen went on to say, “I feel very comfortable at the moment, but you never know what will happen.
“I love the idea that something can throw your life into disarray and you just have to swing your neck around to catch up.”
