Now that spring has officially sprung, and the clocks are going back this week, we are hanging up our winter coats until later in the year.
Although we’re happy to see the back of our heavy coats and puffas, it’s still not quite warm enough for our favourite staple of the summer, a denim jacket.
Instead, a trench coat is the ideal choice for this time of year. They’re light enough that they look good layered over t-shirts or spring dresses, but it will also keep you warm as well as looking equally good over a lightweight knit.
We love how Rosie Connolly has styled hers in a sporty way with a hoodie and runners. Also ideal if you’re not ready to give up on lockdown dressing just yet.
