A whole host of stars stepped out for the Bord Gais Energy Irish Book Awards in Dublin last night.
Authors including Cecelia Ahern, Roddy Doyle, Roz Purcell, Vogue Williams and Maia Dunphy graced the red carpet before of the ceremony.
UK star David Walliams was also in attendance, after flying over to Dublin for the occasion.
The broadcaster, who has released a number novels and sold over 20 million copies, was presented with the International Recognition Award.
Speaking about the award, David said, “This is delightful news. I am so pleased that my friends in Ireland have given me this huge honour.
“I love writing books for children and will continue doing so for as long as people want to read them.”
The full ceremony will air on RTE One at 9.30pm this Wednesday. Will you be tuning in?
