The festive season officially kicks off on RTÉ One this Friday night as The Late Late Show unveils a Christmas Special filled with quite the star-studded line-up!
First up is Irish golfing favourite Shane Lowry, who joins Patrick Kielty fresh from an exceptional season that saw him help steer Team Europe to Ryder Cup glory and thrill crowds at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
Also dropping by the studio is dancer and TV personality Oti Mabuse, who steps into her new role as head judge on Dancing with the Stars ahead of the show’s 2026 season.
Oti will chat about what excites her most about joining the Irish version of the series, her early impressions of the judging panel, and what she expects from this year’s contestants.

She’ll be joined by Eurovision icon Niamh Kavanagh, who was recently announced as a contestant, while viewers can also expect a live reveal of three additional dancers during the show!
Hollywood heavyweight Brendan Fraser joins Kielty to discuss his acclaimed new film Rental Family.
The Oscar winner will also reflect on his transformative performance in The Whale, the buzz surrounding a new instalment of The Mummy, and the personal significance of his Irish heritage.
Irish comedy favourite Jason Byrne will bring his trademark energy to the Late Late stage.

Music for the night then, comes courtesy of chart-topping artist Tom Grennan, who will perform his festive single It Can’t Be Christmas, before sitting down to have the chats with Kielty.
Finally, Brooke Scullion will round out the musical line-up with a special take on a seasonal classic.
