Spencer Matthews has hit back at online trolls, who criticise himself and Vogue Williams through social media.
The reality star, who welcomed his first son Theodore to the world with Vogue last year, has revealed followers regularly share their opinions and advice with the pair online.
While he tries to ignore any negativity, it’s can be difficult as the messages “come straight to your phone.”
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Spencer said, “I don’t really read anything online.
“I personally find that social media is a bit of a joke. It’s full access to everyone. You find people justifying themselves to complete strangers and seeking approval from complete strangers. To me, it’s just madness.”
He continued, “Vogue loves social media and uses it for work a lot. God bless her, she loves it. She has had a lot of positivity, along with some negativity, but it’s to be expected.
“People are jealous and also, people are know-it-alls in this day and age. Everyone thinks they know best. Unfortunately, we live in a time where people are able to share their beliefs with you, and it comes straight to your phone.”
Ignoring any nay-sayers, Spencer adds, “I think we’re doing a pretty good job.”
Over the weekend, the six-month-old tot learned how to sit up for himself, and both mum and dad are very proud of the milestone.
“He’s fantastic. He makes our life very easy. He’s super happy and giggling,” the British tv star told us.
“He recognises people now. If you sit him up, he can stay there for a little bit now before toppling over. He’s getting there! He’s a wonderful little kid.”
Spencer admits he’d love to expand the brood, and give Theodore some siblings in the near future.
“I’d love to have a large family. Obviously, we’ll do what we can and hopefully not encounter too many bumps along the way. We’ll see! We’re certainly on track.
“We’d both like at least three kids, possibly four – maybe more, who knows?”
The reality star was over in Dublin for the launch of Indie Spice Grill in Naas.
