While it was a big night for One Direction at the BRIT Awards, only one member of the band actually made it to the event.
Niall Horan has revealed that he wasn’t able to attend the big bash, as he was in studio working on his hotly anticipated debut album.
While it was band-mate Liam Payne who collected the gong for Best Video at the star-studded ceremony last night, Niall was sure to take a moment to thank his fans for their on-going support.
Taking to social media, Niall said, “Oh my days… Time and time again you guys do it for us. Payno, love ya bro.
“Still in shock. You guys are incredible. Thank you!”
Niall then went on to praise fellow X-Factor stars, Little Mix, who went home with their first BRIT award for Best Single last night.
“Massive congrats to Little Mix,” he said. “Every time there’s a chance to kill a live performance, they do it. Also congratulations on your first Brit.”
