Singer Lisa McHugh has opened up about her impending nuptials, revealing she can’t wait to marry her partner Nathan during a romantic Irish ceremony.
The Scottish-born star announced her engagement last summer, and revealed she’s spent the last few months planning every minute of their big day.
“It’s been a tough year in so many ways, but it’s been a really exciting year personally, being able to have time to work on organising my dream wedding,” she told the Irish Mirror.
“Normally I wouldn’t have had the time if I was on tour, so in one way it worked out really well. I had time to do it all myself, which is really exciting.”
The pair are planning to tie the knot in Ireland, as it holds a special place in their hearts.
“I’ve been living in Ireland for 11 years now, my partner Nathan is from here too and my family love a good Irish wedding, so it gives them an excuse to come over too.”
Lisa’s partner Nathan Khan popped the question last July, and the time, she beamed, “Officially the happiest and luckiest girl in the world. I cannot wait to marry my best friend and the man of my dreams.”
Fellow famous faces were quick to share their well-wishes with the happy couple, including Una Healy, Bonnie Ryan and her ex Nathan Carter who said, “Absolutely delighted for you both. Congratulations Lisa! Delighted for you. Lucky man xx.”
