Singer Lesley Roy is set to represent Ireland in this year’s Eurovision.
The Balbriggan-born singer-songwriter, who splits her time between Ireland and New York, will perform her track The Story of My Life at this year’s contest.
Lesley will give her debut performance of the uptempo track this Friday on the Late Late Show.
Speaking to RTE, Lesley revealed that representing Ireland at Eurovision has been a lifelong ambition of hers.
The blonde bombshell is an established songwriter, having worked with the likes of Adam Lambert, Miss Montreal and Marlee Scott.
The Story of My Life will receive its airplay debut on 2FM Breakfast with Doireann Garrihy and Eoghan McDermott this morning.
Meanwhile, the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is taking place in Rotterdam, Netherland’s this May.
