Singer songwriter JP Cooper has postponed his gig which was due to take place tonight.
The concert, which was to take place in the Oympia in Dublin, is just hours away, but the has been forced to cancel the show due to vocal problems.
In a statement from JP himself, he said: “So so sorry to do this but having woken up with no voice today and battling through the Live Lounge performance on Radio 1 I’ve been advised I have no choice but to pull tonight’s show.”
The September Song artist added that he hates disappointing his fans. He also added details of a rescheduled date.
He added: “Believe me this is the last thing I want to be doing, I hate to let down my Irish fans after all the love and support you guys have shown me, but it’s under doctor’s orders. We have spoken to the promoter and there is a possibility that we can re-arrange the show for the 29th Nov. All original tickets will be valid and I really hope you can all make it. Once again sincerest apologies to everyone who has tickets for the show tonight in Dublin. Much love JP.”
Show promoters added that tickets remain valid for new show date and returns are available at point of purchase.
