It was a birthday like no other for Sile Seoige, as she celebrated turning 41 at home in isolation.
The tv presenter spent the day celebrating with her fiancé Damien O’Farrell and their two-year-old son Cathal, and it looks like the family had an amazing time!
Taking to Instagram, Sile wrote, “I’m 41 today and I feel so lucky and so thankful for all I have in my life.
“I got a lie on this morning, then my boys sang Happy Birthday to me as they served me brekkie in bed and we all snuggled up and watched Peter Rabbit!”
She continued: “As much as I love birthdays and parties and believe in celebrating big days… I also like a more low-key approach to my own, so a simple day being made feel special with my favourite people is my idea of birthday heaven.
“Of course I miss my family and friends and I love getting dressed up and going out, but I’m not sad at all today as I know we’ll have wonderful get togethers when we’re out the other side of these restrictions.
“I suppose I try to soak up the small things in life anymore, because I know that they really are the big things in life and the stuff that really matters.”
The presenter also recently shared a snap of son Cathal enjoying the Easter festivities.
“Our happy lil maneen before brekkie this morning,” she captioned the adorable post.
“Lots of magic discovering what the Easter bunny left him… and a touch of mayhem too, when we refused to serve him a plate of chocolate for breakfast!”
How cute is this little family?
