Sile Seoige has revealed she was overcome with emotion when she learned of her good friend Rosanna Davison’s pregnancy.
After enduring years of fertility struggles, the model recently discovered she’s expecting twin boys.
Sharing her delight, Sile gushed that it is “the most amazing news”.
Taking to social media, she said, “When Rosanna told me I kind of found it hard to take it in, so I can’t begin to imagine what it was like for her and Wes. But to say I’m over the moon for them would be an absolute understatement. I was unbelievably emotional when she told me.
“She had been told, that the likelihood of her having her own baby would be very unlikely and there she is pregnant with twins. It’s the most incredible news and I am busting with joy for them.”
Rosanna announced the news of her pregnancy earlier this week, showcasing her growing baby bump.
Beaming with delight she said, “These pregnancy miracles really can and do happen when you least expect them.”
Rosanna and her husband Wes were told the good news in April of this year, but kept it completely private for a few weeks.
“We held onto our lovely secret for a long time because our past fertility challenges have taught us not to get excited about a positive pregnancy test,” she said.
“Losses at any stage of pregnancy are traumatic and can make it more difficult to really believe that your family dreams might come true.”
She continued, “Over the past couple of years, I had done a lot of work on myself to make peace with the idea that I was the girl who would never be able to carry her own child or that I may never even have a family of my own, so the last few months have been a process of reversing what I thought I knew and had accepted about myself. I actually think we’re still in shock.”
The couple are already parents to little Sofia, who they welcomed to the world via surrogacy last November.
