Lucy Kennedy has opened up about her little girl Jess, revealing how she’s made their family complete.
The Dubliner, who already had two beautiful kids Holly and Jack, gave birth to her third child with hubby Richard Governey in December 2016.
“It seems like yesterday when she was in my tummy as I was pulling around poor Finbar [Furey} on a camel in Lanzarote,” Lucy said, reflecting on an episode of her popular show Livin’ With Lucy.
“And yet it’s like she’s always been here. I found that for us and our family, a third baby has just closed the circle. She was so desired that when she came along it was like, ‘I’m done’.”

And while Jess is still the baby of the bunch, she’s already growing up fast.
“Jess started creche and she’s making friends. It’s really cute,” the mum-of-three told VIP Magazine.
“She’s definitely learning more, she’s saying things like ‘ta ta’ and holding things – just being a little bit more independent.”
But seeing her little girl enter a new stage hasn’t been easy for the Radio Nova host.
“I cried for the first time I dropped her off!” Lucy confessed.

Speaking to us at the launch of Aveeno Baby, the Ireland’s Got Talent host admits that while it has been mainly smooth-sailing with the tot, her skin can become cause of worry.
Lucy is among the estimated 600,000 families in Ireland who have suffered sleepless nights due to childhood skin conditions but she claims switching to Aveeno Baby has given her “peace of mind”.
“My youngest, Jess, got dry patches like a lot of babies do. I switched to Aveeno Baby moisturiser and started moisturising pretty much everyday and it worked,” she said.

With her signature sense of humour, Lucy revealed that skincare woes can continue sometimes into adulthood.
“I still get dry patches. Maybe I’m just drinking too much wine!”
