Shane Filan has revealed why he won’t be appearing on any reality shows this winter.
The singer, who just released his brand new album Love Always, admits that even though invitations regularly present themselves, he has no intentions of signing up to a tv show in the near future.
“I get offered every reality show you can imagine, but I’ve made a conscious decision not to do any of them,” he exclusively tells VIP Magazine.
“Singing is what I love to do and I’m very fortunate that I don’t need to do anything else but sing.”
While Shane won’t be joining former Westlife bandmate Nicky Byrne on Dancing With The Stars this year, he admits the two are still very close and he loves tuning into his pal on the radio.
“I listen all the time when I’m in Ireland, especially when I’m in the car,” he says.
“It’s a great show and Nicky is doing so well!”
Meanwhile, the DWTS judges Julian Benson, Lorraine Barry and Brian Redmond have revealed who they’d like to see take part in the show this year.
“Alison Spittle would be gas, could you imagine?” Julian said at the launch of RTE’s new season.
“Miriam O’Callaghan I would love.”
“I’d like Vogue, oh my goodness I mean those legs!” Loraine interluded.
“Vogue would be great and Crystal Swing, do you know what I mean? You’ve got to think outside the box.
“I’d like Nathan Carter or his brother, they’d be great too,” Julian concluded.
