Shane Filan has ruled out a Westlife reunion, adding the the group have ‘grown apart’.
The singer admitted that the band mates haven’t been in the same room together in five years.
The last time the group were together was their final gig, which was in Croke Park in 2012.
Shane told the BBC: “There’s no plans to be on stage together. We haven’t even seen each other, the four of us together.”
“We haven’t even had a beer since Croke Park. We haven’t been in the same room together.”
When pressed on a reason as to why they have been so distant, Shane said: “I think we’ve grown apart.”

The Sligo man has seen his bandmates over the years, but never all of them at once.
“I don’t think it’s deliberate at all because we’ve seen each other individually.
“And every time we do, we always have a great chat,” he said.
The singer even hung out with Kian and his family recently.
“I saw Kian recently, he came out to my house and we had a BBQ and our kids got together, we didn’t really know each other at all.
“We were chatting about all the old days. It was just random.”
The band split in 2012 after 14 years together, and it seems that sadly, they won’t be reuniting any time soon!
