Despite wowing audiences around the world with his role in Taken, Liam Neeson has been replaced for the upcoming tv prequel.

The Irish star opted to stay away from the tv series, and Vikings star Clive Standen has been cast to take over his role and portray a younger version of Liam’s character.

Similar to the movies made famous by the Ballymena native, the prequel will follow the life of CIA operative, Bryan Mills, while delving into past, showing how he learned and developed his infamous “particular set of skills.”

We hope Clive can live up to expectations!

The news comes shortly after Liam denied actually having an “incredibly famous” girlfriend, revealing the whole thing was a joke.
