So despite his busy schedule touring around the world, Bruce Springsteen could be making an extended trip to Ireland to perform with a church choir – if he accepts their invitation, that is.

A local church choir in Westmeath extended an offer to Bruce, asking him to join them for a song after discovering that his great-great-grandmother is from the Rathowen area.

According to The Sun, Father Niall Charles from St. Mary’s Church was the one who reached out to Bruce.

He said, “Bruce would be welcome if he wanted to join our choir. And we certainly wouldn’t mind him playing a gig for us, or even taking a box of envelopes and making a contribution.”

We wonder if he could fit in time for a quick song

While it’s not yet known if Bruce will accept such an offer, all we know for sure is that he’ll definitely be wowing the masses in Croke Park this summer.
