Sarah Jessica Parker is best known as New Yorker Carrie Bradshaw, but she’s a Donegal girl at heart.
The Hollywood star has made her love for the Ulster county known plenty of times, as she and husband Matthew Broderick own a holiday home in Dún na nGall, and visit often.
Most recently the pair enjoyed a summer stay, earlier this week, as they were spotted shopping in Donegal town.
Gushing about their recent visit (and shopping trip), the Sex And The City star shared her love of Ireland on Instagram.
Posting snaps from her stay, which including some Supervalu groceries, she wrote: “Photos really. They never quite capture it.
And there is always more. And you should have SEEN it.”
“Had a bite. Smelled the turf. Watched the sea. Heard him talking. Cooked the chop. Buttered the spud. The new spud. Seen the colors.”
“Touched the tweed. Had the tea. The perfect York cabbage. So we did. So it was.”
“Til next time. X, SJ,” she concluded.
Fans were thrilled to see the shoutout and couldn’t help but find the humour in the actress’ love for Supervalu.
As one fan wrote: “Sjp in SuperValu is the crossover I never knew I needed!!”
While another said: “SJP buying vino in Supervalu is giving me life.”
A third shared: “Why does this make me so proud of Ireland?”

Earlier this week Sarah Jessica and Matthew were spotted strolling around Donegal town.
In a picture shared of the pair, they looked effortlessly chic as SJP wore a pink oversized blazer and a pair of cropped jeans with boots. Matthew was wearing a blue shirt and a pair of dark trousers.
They were seen leaving Magee of Donegal, a local design house known for their woolen Donegal tweed.
