Saoirse’s Ronan next project has been revealed and it’s a love story!
According to US entertainment trade publication Deadline, Saoirse will star opposite Elvis Oscar nominee Austin Butler in Deep Cuts, a love story based on the just-published novel of the same name by Canadian author Holly Brickley.
How exciting!
The A24 film will be directed by Sean Durkin (The Iron Claw, The Nest, Martha Marcy May Marlene) while Saoirse herself will also be among the producers.

So what’s it all about?
Well to put it simply, Deep Cuts is a love story set in the 2000s about two music-obsessed twentysomethings navigating the messy realities of ambition, belonging, and adulthood over the course of an era-defining decade.
Yep, sounds like our kind of film.
Filming dates have yet to be announced, so sadly it’ll be another while yet until we get to see this masterpiece on screen.

Most recently, Saoirse was seen in the recovery drama The Outrun and the WWII story Blitz, which she won two awards for at this year’s IFTA’s.
Yes, Saoirse took home Best Lead Actress – Film for The Outrun and Best Supporting Actress – Film for wartime drama Blitz.
Not bad hey!
Safe to say, we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for her.
