There’s no stopping her!
Yes, Saoirse Ronan has landed her next role and it’s quite the exciting project.
According to Deadline, the Irish actress is set to star in the satirical comedy-thriller Bad Apples for Jonatan Etzler, the director of the Swedish film One More Time.
The film, which is an adaption of Rasmus Lindgren’s debut novel De Oönskade, tells the story of Maria (Ronan), a primary school teacher doing her best to inspire a class of 10-year-olds but is unable to because of one unruly and chaotic student.
“With her career in question and the child’s behaviour spiralling, she makes a series of bad decisions that lead to her accidentally taking and locking this ‘bad apple’ in her home.”
But as Maria tries to make the situation right, her class as a result begins to flourish.
Talk about complicated!
Filming for Bad Apples is expected to take place next Spring, so we will sadly have to wait another while before we can actually see it on our screens.
Not to worry, however, as you can currently catch Saoirse in cinemas now, along with fellow Irish actor Paul Mescal in their brand new movie Foe.
The film sees them play a married couple in a not-so-distant future when a stranger comes to visit offering them an opportunity that could change their lives.
In fact, Saoirse is already being tipped for another Oscar nomination for her role in it.
Get it girl!
