Ryanair has announced that it will be revoking the two bag allowance on board flights.
In a statement released this week, Ryanair revealed that it is cancelling the allowance of a second back due to delays and space issues on flights.
Previously, passengers could bring two bags on board, the first a large carry-on (e.g a wheelie bag) and the second a smaller bag (e.g handbag, laptop bag etc).
Now only the smaller bag can be brought on board the flight and the larger of the bags will be check in.
In an effort to get more passengers to check in their bags, the company has increase the size of the check-in bag allowance and reduced the cost.
The limit will now go from 15kg to 20kg for bags and will cost €25 down from the previous €35.
Only passengers with priority boarding will be allowed a second bag on board.
These changes will come into effect after November 1st.
