Ryan Tubridy has received a major salary bump thanks to his own media firm.
The tv presenter who owns Tuttle Productions Limited has received a €100,000 pay increase, despite the company making a loss of over €150,000 in 2015.
The Irish star acts as director of the company along with his mum Catherine Tubridy and they both received the hefty pay increase in August of last year.
Ryan is still one of RTÉ’s best paid stars, raking in €495,000 each year. However, Ryan did have to take a substantial pay cut back in 2012 of nearly €250,000.
Ryan’s media firm has had it’s fair share of financial difficulties. It’s cash balance was halved from €80,286 to €42,825 over the course of a year, while payments due to the company’s creditors increased from €79,047 to €186,396.
However, Ryan’s presenting career is still going from strength to strength – and shows no signs of stopping!
The Late Late Show is still one of the most watched programmes in Ireland and although recent JNLR showed a slight drop of 3,000 listeners to Ryan’s Radio One show, RTÉ bosses still have every confidence in the seasoned broadcaster.
