All summer long (if we can get away with calling this our summer with all this rain!) we’ve been left unsure what to do with our Friday nights. We couldn’t go out and visit friends and family as normal, and of course, the Late Late Show was on a break.
But now, with new episodes of the Late Late Show only around the corner, Ryan Tubridy himself has let slip who one of the first guests on the show will be.
Speaking on his radio show on RTÉ Radio 1, Ryan revealed that Irish band Stolen City has already been invited to join him in the studio. The lead singer of the band, Dave McCabe, recently spoke to Ryan about his battle with cancer.

Back in March, Dave opened up to Ryan about his leukaemia diagnosis, saying he felt the need to remain positive. He also added that he feels 2020 will be a good year for Stolen City, despite current events.
After this interview back in March, it was revealed that the Late Late Show music booker, Dermot McEvoy, had listened to Dave’s music and was eager to have the band perform on the show.
Catch Stolen City performing on the Late Late Show when it arrives back on our screens this autumn.
